Hampstead Idyll I

The view from outside my window.

To the right is our backyard, and behind that fence is a schoolyard. Every morning, I awake to the sound of children playing.

Ahh...waking up to the sound of children playing may be nice now...but dammit...it's going to get old pretty darn fast! (Just like how I used to enjoy waking up to the sound of the international bird conference in our neighbor's bamboo bush every morning...but then birds chirp chirping at 4:30am ain't so sweet after a while...)

Can't wait to read more about your adventures Aleks! We miss you lots!

Aleksandra...you have a blog? I love it...I want one...who do I have to sleep with to get one? Note: That's usually how I get most things - although the last few things I've received that way required an ointment to alleviate! I knew I shouldn’t have gone home with Nafeesa and her cousin that night at Celebrities!

Anyways, I love that I can see pictures and read thoughts of your new life as Supreme Leader of the Girl Guides of the Universe – is that what you’re doing over there?!? To be honest, I don’t read your thoughts – I only look at the pictures! My mother especially enjoyed your homo honey outfit (she wants you to hook her up with one, and a matching tiara, for next years festivities)…

Anyways, I look forward to tuning in regularly -- as for the neighbouring children behind your house -- don't look at them as screaming, brats...consider them potential candidates for recruitment into your Girl Guides of the Universe posse...just one step closer to total, world-wide domination!

Hey babe!

Love the blog, I'll be sure to check in once in a while to see what's new with you in dear old London.

Currently I'm chained to my desk at school 24/7 so I plan on living vicariously through your adventures.

XOXOXO

Edit:
The kids are far enough away, the sound is an ambient one, which is just how I like it.

Though little kids do seem cuter after the steady stream of too-cool teenage drama queens we've had through Pax the last few days...
